The BLACK Line was launched in 2009 in the wake of the global recession, with the aim of making Comme des Garçons more accessible to a wider audience. The line revisited and reinterpreted many of the brand’s iconic designs, while also producing notable collaborations with brands such as Nike.
These shorts feature one of CDG Black’s more recognisable designs, with zips running across both legs. When unzipped, the silhouette transforms dramatically, creating a diamond shape. Closed, they remain clean and sleek.
The fit is wide and finished with two rear pockets, and belt loops throughout.
